"My things are not commonplace.  They are for those particular people who expect the best"    Stephen Van O'Meara

Step into his studio of Stephen Van O’Meara and you will step back in time: Hundreds of hammers, polished forming stakes, handmade tools, Kilns and forges, Swiss engine-turning machines, spinning lathes, drop hammers… reminiscent of the ancient goldsmithing houses of Augsburg or London.

Born in Denver, Colorado and residing in Scottsdale, Arizona, Stephen hand-crafts his works of art in sterling silver and gold, with the highest attention paid to detail and unique design. Says Stephen; "I want to give people something meaningful. If an individual acquires one of my pieces, I want them to feel as if it came from a real person, from a part of me, not a machine. That this piece is one of a limited number, or yet may be the only one in the world."

Mastering these ancient arts has been a life-long quest of short apprenticeships with master craftsmen from Europe and America. Stephen now designs and makes bespoke items in silver and gold for customers all over the world.
