| The Chasing Bench is where Stephen utilizes the ancient techniques of chasing and repouse to create intricate designs on the surfaces of his silver and gold pieces. On the left is a round tray sunk in a container of pitch, awaiting decoration, and on the right is a a "pitch bowl" filled with a sheet of silver. Chasing hammers are shown, as well as a box of chasing tools. |
